Lead crystal is lead oxide added to molten glass.

Features

Its refraction index is 1.7, glass is 1.5. It gives lead crystal its "sparkle" and its ability to reflect direct sun light and create beautiful rainbow spectrums.
It is is very fragile and scratches easily. Avoid cleaning with harsh commercial cleaners.
Its surface is not smooth, but has many facets.
Has a hole drilled in at the top.
Comes with a connector ring.
Does not come with a jewellery chain.
