• You are pregnant, because it can cause miscarriage
• You are breastfeeding
• You are going for surgery, because it can increase the risk of bleeding

• High doses for a prolonged period is not recommended
• It may interact with diabetic medications
• Taking oregano along with medications that slow blood clotting (anticoagulants) may increase the risk of bruising and bleeding
